Safety considerations before using myPlan

Abusive people often monitor their partner’s devices and online activity. You might not even know it’s happening. Having an app about relationship abuse on your device or in your browser history could put you at risk. If you are concerned about someone discovering myPlan, please take steps to use it as safely as possible.

The safest way to use myPlan is on a device an abusive partner does not have access to

Take these steps to increase your privacy & safety before downloading or using myPlan:

Make sure your device activity isn’t visible to your partner through “family sharing” Alert: If family sharing is enabled, your partner may get a notification if you change the settings

Make sure your device is not connected to other devices that a partner could see through cloud sync

If using our web app or visiting our website, set your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) to private or incognito mode

Delete myPlan after you are done using Alert: It’s not possible to delete apps from your purchase history on Apple devices. You can “hide” purchases on your own device, but they can still be discovered, and it will not be hidden from a family member’s purchase history if family sharing is enabled.
